Music: "The Last High" - THe Dandy Warhols



-So, it's about five thirty in the morning, I haven't slept, I'm coverend head to toe in blue and black paint, I'm dizzy, headachy, and feeling rather nauseous (I got paint on my bagel, I think that may have something to do with the general feeling of icky-ness), but in all honesty, I haven't felt this good in a long time! I forgot how much I love to paint, and in making Christams gifts tonight (which I now don't want to give away) I was reminded of how much I love to actually get down and get my hands dirty when I'm making something. About mid-painting, I abandoned *sp?* my brushes, and just used my hands. Ooooohhh! If only I had more paint! I only have four colors, and two of them aren't even colors (black and white), but they are very versatile. I went to the art store the other day, and they had a 5ft x 3ft canvas there, I wanted it then, but now I can only imagine the possibilities! It's just been so long since I've felt good and confident about what I'm doing. Funny, I stopped painting, and that's the only thing that makes me feel that way. I'm just so excited, but lack of energy keeps me from continuing on through the day. I don't think my bf's grandparents would appreciate my showing up to their house covered in paint. Hehe, that is a funny picture though. . . . .


So I'm playing with the idea of leaving town for a while. Just to get away on my own, visit some friends, visit some of my favorite places. Just get away from the everyday-ness of here. Eventhough things are going very well at this point in time, I just need to get out of here.

So since I've gone on this painting spree, I'll more than likely be posting pictures of these new pices of mine pretty shortly. Once they dry, and I clear my camera and recharge the batteries.
